Pre-monsoon showers lash Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur:Pre-monsoon showers lashed the city on Saturday, giving much-needed respite to the people from the sultry weather.

The rains failed to water down the spirit of youths who drove on the streets with gay abandon. At most places, the rain was welcomed by the residents, save for some places where minor water-logging appeared to warn the Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee of the seasonal woes.

JNAC is already on a mission to clean the city of plastic which is a major cause of water-logging and choking of drains in the city.
