Administrative reshuffle in Tata Steel

Jamshedpur, Feb 28: In a significant administrative reshuffle, Tata Steel Vice President (Corporate Services) DB Sundara Ramam has reassigned several senior officials across key verticals.
As part of the restructuring, Amit Kumar Singh has been relieved of his responsibilities as Head – Land Management and Corporate Relations (Land), Jamshedpur. He has now been appointed as Head – Statutory Compliance Management and Societies & Corporate Relations.
In his new role, Singh will oversee corporate relations across Jamshedpur, Seraikela-Kharsawan, and West Bengal. His appointment, effective March 2, comes ahead of the retirement of Nishit Kumar Singh, who currently holds the position and is set to retire on May 1.
Meanwhile, Praveen Kumar, previously serving as Head – Land Acquisition, has been appointed as Head – Land Management for Tata Steel, Jamshedpur. He will supervise land matters in Seraikela-Kharsawan district, the Metallics Division, Bearing Division, the Ludhiana Project, and Jamshedpur, reporting to the Chief, Land Management.
In another development, Pramod Kumar, Head – Employee Services and Corporate Relations at Tata Steel Gamharia and TGS, has also been reassigned. He will now serve as Head – Employee Services, Tata Steel Gamharia and TGS, in addition to handling Employee Services under Corporate Services at Tata Steel Jamshedpur.
He will further oversee responsibilities related to the Tinplate and Wire Divisions.
Additionally, Prashant Dinda, Head – Business Finance (Raw Material) and Employee Experience, has been nominated as Treasurer of School of Hope.
The nomination was made by T. V. Narendran, Managing Director and CEO of Tata Steel.
