Ranchi: The ‘Pratibimb’ app has proven to be a formidable weapon against cybercriminals in Jharkhand, leading to the arrest of 228 individuals involved in cyber offenses across various districts within just a month of its launch. The initiative has resulted in the confiscation of 595 mobile phones and 901 SIM cards from the apprehended criminals. Additionally, 55 FIRs have been registered against cybercriminals in different districts.
District-wise statistics: Deoghar: 103 arrests, Dhanbad: 08 arrests, iridih: 41 arrests, Hazaribagh: 19 arrests, Jamshedpur: 04 arrests, Jamtara: 39 arrests, Pakud: 05 arrests, Godda: 02 arrests, Garhwa: 01 arrest, Koderma: 06 arrests, Total: 228 arrests.
