Jamshedpur, Sept 6: Jamshedpur�s Bhojpuri language and cultural crusader Pradip Singh Bhojpuria was conferred the Bhojpuri Gaurav Samman at an awards ceremony organized in Atharva College of Engineering Auditorium in Mumbai. The award was instituted 20 years ago in recognition of contribution towards the propagation of the culture and heritage of Bhojpuri language. Pradip Singh Bhojpuria was conferred this award by popular Bhojpuri film comedian Manoj Tiger alias Batasa Chacha and director Kuldip Srivastav.
Among the dignitaries present on the occasion were actor and parliamentarian Ravi Kishan, popular playback singer Hemlata, Khesari Lal Yadav, Kajal Raghwani, folk singer Devi, Mohan Rathore, Rakesh Mishra, Dipak Tripathy, actress Priti Shukla, Kajal Yadav, Smriti Sinha, Sambhavna Seth, Sonalika, Sonu Pritam, Nisar Khan, Udhari Babu, Seema Biswas, Akhilesh Pandey, Samar Singh and other members of the Bhojpuri film industry and Bhojpuri cultural crusaders.
