Jamshedpur, Sept 6: The ground breaking ceremony or Bhumi Pujan for construction of the pandal for Baridih Students Club was performed at Post Office Ground. All members of the committee were present on the occasion. The Baridih Students Club was established in 1991 and Durga Puja is being organized since then.
The members stated that as in earlier years this year too the pandal would be a centre of attraction for visitors. They said that the pandal would be constructed by experienced hands and with the support of other people.
The Students Club president Samir Mishra said that all out efforts would be made to make Durga Puja successful. The colourful lights in and around the pandal would be a centre of attraction. Security arrangements would be in place with the cooperation of the Sidgora police. In addition, the committee members would always be present in contingent situations. Among members present on the occasion were Chinmay Chatterjee, Santosh Singh, Sanjay Singh, Raja Chatterjee, Rajan Pandey, Monu, Chintu, Soren and others.
