Prachi of Govind Vidyalaya Jamshedpur bags silver in state sub-junior Wushu championship

Jamshedpur, May16: Class 8 A student of Govind Vidyalaya Tamulia, Prachi Mahto was accorded a grand ovation at her school for bagging a silver medal in the 19th Jharkhand State Sub Junior Wushu Championship Under-14 years category organized at St Michael School, Muri in Ranchi between May 13 and 14. Thirty students from various schools of Jharkhand including Govind Vidyalaya Tamulia participated in the event.

The skills of Govind Vidyalaya Wushu contestants came in for appreciation among whom Prachi Mahto clinched the silver medal. The school’s sports coach Gokulanand Mishra was complimented for Prachi’s success.

The championship is conducted under the aegis of Sarla Birla University, Mahilong’s Ranchi President Dr Pradip Verma and General Secretary Shailendra Nath Dubey.
