Jamshedpur: Drinking water pipeline connection for Burmamines Inder Singh Basti

Jamshedpur, May 16 : The ground breaking ceremony (Bhumi Pujan) for laying drinking water pipeline at Inder Singh Basti in Burmamines was performed today. The pipeline work is being done by Tata Steel UISL. It may be mentioned that the work of drinking water pipeline for the denizens of Inder Singh Basti was started on the initiative of Jamsedpur East Assembly constituency MLA Saryu Roy who had urged the Tata Steel UISL authorities to provide drinking water connection to the residents of the locality.

District President of Bharatiya Jantantra Morcha (BJM) Subodh Srivastava along with Bablu, Ravindra Thakur, Raj Kumar Singh, Ishwar Rai, Manilal, Ram Kumar Jha, Binod Yadav, Ashok Pandey and local residents were present during the Bhoomi Pujan ceremony. BJM Burmamines Mandal President Durga Rao informed that the residents of Inder Singh Basti were facing drinking water crisis for the last 25 years. It was at the behest of MLA Saryu Rai that Tata Steel UISL (formerly JUSCO Ltd) commenced work of laying drinking water pipeline for the residents of Inder Singh Basti. The residents expressed gratitude to Saryu Roy for the initiative.
