Jamshedpur, June 6: Prabhat Sharma has been appointed as a member of the Governing Body of Sona Devi University (SDU), Ghatsila, East Singhbhum. This nomination, effective for a three-year term, was made by Prabhakar Singh, Chancellor of SDU, in accordance with Section 22 of the Sona Devi University Act, 2022 (Jharkhand Act No. 05, 2023).
Sharma, who resides in Vijaya Garden, Baridih, is expected to bring his expertise and support to help manage and guide the university’s operations effectively, in alignment with the SDU Act, 2022.
The appointment was officially communicated by Prof. (Dr.) Gulab Singh Azad, Registrar of SDU, Ghatsila, East Singhbhum, who expressed confidence in Sharma’s ability to contribute positively to the institution’s governance.
This move is seen as part of the university’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its leadership and enhance its educational offerings.
