Jharkhand minor girl dies in Bihar, raped and murdered

Ranchi, June 6: A 13-year-old tribal girl from Palamu was raped and murdered in Bihar. The girl was a victim of human trafficking. She was taken to Sasaram in Bihar with the intention of working. Palamu police has registered a case.

The deceased was a resident of Ramgarh police station area of Palamu. After the incident of rape with the minor, she was killed and the body was buried. After the complaint of the case, the police took out the body in the presence of the magistrate. At the same time, an FIR has been registered against the human trafficking contractor and a brick kiln owner of Sasaram in Bihar.

A team of Palamu police has left for Sasaram in Bihar to arrest the accused brick kiln owner and contractor. According to the FIR, the victim was a victim of human trafficking eight months ago. The victim’s father is no more, while her mother has remarried. A contractor from the same village lured the victim with money and took her to work at a brick kiln in Sasaram, Bihar.

According to local villagers, on June 3, the contractor and some people reached the victim’s native village in Ramgarh, Palamu with the victim’s body.

At that time, the contractor and the people who came with him did not tell the reason for the victim’s death and buried the body in the village itself.

After which the local villagers informed the victim’s mother about the entire matter. The deceased’s mother informed the police about the entire matter. The police have registered an FIR in the entire matter and exhumed the victim’s body in the presence of a magistrate. The police are conducting raids to arrest the accused.
