Jamshedpur: The Milanee, oldest socio-cultural club in the city is all set to host Pous Mela on December 30. Cultural function will be presented by Sur Sangam (Members of Milanee) and Boul Songs by Matir Sur, a group from Birbhum in West Bengal from 7 pm onwards.
According to a press communique issued by Raju Dutta, general secretary of The Milanee, said, stalls will be put up which would serve delicious Bengali food (Peetha Special) at the club camp. It may be noted that Poush Mela is one of the major fairs organized at Santiniketan.
It attracts large number of tourists not only from India but different countries of the world. The fair is famous for the perfect merger of different cultures and traditions. Visitors enjoy the fair and experience the rich heritage of Bengal.
