Potka Students Deepa Patra and Aditi Singh Excel in Commerce; Secure Spots in East Singhbhum Top-10

Potka: Two Potka girls have secured positions in the district’s top-10 list for the Commerce stream. Deepa Patra achieved the second rank in the district with a score of 89%, while Aditi Singh, the daughter of a village head, secured the fifth position with 88%.

Shared Ambitions and Academic Excellence

The achievements of both students have sparked celebrations across the region. Deepa and Aditi, both students of Plus Two Project Balika High School, share a common goal of becoming Chartered Accountants (CA) to bring pride to their families and society.

School Achieves 100% Success Rate

Principal Sudhanshu Mandal reported that the school achieved a 100% pass rate this year. The student turnout included:

• Arts: 129 students appeared and passed.
• Science: 9 students appeared and passed.
• Commerce: 6 students appeared and passed.

Principal Mandal emphasized that since taking charge of the school, his primary objective has been to advance students and inspire them toward a better future. He credited the collective efforts of the teachers, the management committee, and parents for this overwhelming success, noting that this performance has brought recognition to both the school and the entire Potka region.
