Half-Century Hero Named Player of the Match
Jamshedpur, May 6: Mango XI defeated Dalma Tigers by seven wickets in a match of the APR Nair Junior Cricket League, organised by Aman Welfare Society in Mango.
Batting first, Dalma Tigers scored 138 runs. In reply, Mango XI chased down the target comfortably, scoring 139 for the loss of two wickets in 17.5 overs.
Manan played a match-winning knock of 54 runs and was named Player of the Match for his impressive performance. The award was presented by social worker Dr. Afroz.
The tournament is being played in a league format, with six teams participating. The APR Nair Junior Cricket League continues to witness competitive matches and promising performances from young cricketers in the city.
