Jamshedpur: The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) announced the Class 12 results for all three streams on Wednesday, and girls delivered an outstanding performance once again. Rashida Naaz from Dhanbad secured the top position in Science, Chhoti Kumari from Bokaro topped Arts, and Shweta Prasad from Ranchi emerged as the state topper in Commerce.
Despite financial challenges, all three toppers achieved remarkable success through hard work and determination. Shweta Prasad’s father is a farmer, Chhoti Kumari’s father works as a daily wage laborer, and Rashida Naz’s father holds a private job in an outsourcing company.
Shweta Prasad Tops Commerce, Aims to Become a CA

Shweta Prasad from Ranchi scored 478 out of 500 marks (95.6%) to secure the top rank in the Commerce stream. She shared that she initially had little interest in studies and scored average marks before Class 10.
However, with guidance from her parents and teachers, she worked hard and scored 93% in Class 10. Since then, she has remained focused, which has led to her topping the state in Class 12. She now aims to become a Chartered Accountant (CA).
Shweta’s father is a farmer, and her mother is a homemaker. She has an elder brother and sister, both pursuing graduation. She credited her family for constant support and said her parents always emphasized the importance of education, motivating all siblings to take studies seriously.
She completed her early education at a school in Chutia, Ranchi, and passed Class 12 from Yogoda Satsang Intermediate College, Jagannathpur, Dhurwa. She plans to pursue graduation alongside CA preparation.
Rashida Naz Tops Science, Dreams of Becoming Professor
Rashida Naz from Jamadoba Ramjanpur in Jharia, Dhanbad, secured the top rank in the Science stream with 489 marks. Her achievement has brought joy to her family and locality.
A student of DAV Plus Two High School, Pathardih, Rashida has consistently worked hard in her studies. Despite coming from a modest background, her father ensured she never lacked education support.
Rashida relied more on classroom learning and guidance from teachers rather than online classes. Mathematics is her favourite subject, although she scored the highest marks in Chemistry.
She credited her family, teachers, and especially her sister for her success. She said her sister helped strengthen her studies until Class 8 when she did not attend coaching.
Although she did not expect to top the state, her hard work, confidence, and family support helped her achieve this milestone. She now aspires to become a professor and contribute to the field of education.
Chhoti Kumari Tops Arts, Credits Hard Work and Confidence

Chhoti Kumari from Bokaro scored 478 marks to top the Arts stream. She studies at KN +2 High School, Harnad.
Her success reflects a story of struggle and determination. Her father, Bhawani Shankar Nayak, works as a labourer, while her mother is a homemaker. Despite limited resources, Chhoti prioritized her education and worked consistently.
She said she achieved this success through regular study, guidance from teachers, and strong self-confidence. She credited her parents and teachers for encouraging her in every situation.
Her achievement has brought happiness to her family, school, and the entire region. Teachers praised her and said she serves as an inspiration for other students.
