Jamshedpur: All administrative preparations have been finalized for the Polytechnic Entrance Competitive Examination 2025, scheduled for Sunday, May 18. A total of 7507 candidates are set to appear at 12 designated examination centers across Jamshedpur urban area in East Singhbhum district. The examination will be held from 10:30 AM to 1:00 PM, under strict CCTV surveillance and biometric attendance protocols.
In compliance with directions issued by the District Magistrate-cum-Deputy Commissioner, a comprehensive review meeting was convened at the Collectorate Auditorium under the chairmanship of Sub-Divisional Officer (Dhalbhum) Mrs. Shatabdi Majumdar. The meeting saw participation from Centre Superintendents, Static Magistrates, and Flying Squad-cum-Patrol Magistrates, who were briefed to ensure a fair and peaceful examination process.
The District Administration has also issued strict prohibitory orders under B.N.S.S., effective within a 100-meter radius of all exam centres on the examination day. As per the order, gathering of five or more persons, use of loudspeakers without permission, and carrying of weapons—including knives, firearms, and other dangerous items—will be strictly prohibited in the restricted zones. Exceptions will only be made for funeral, religious, and wedding processions. Only authorised personnel, invigilators, candidates, and on-duty police officials will be permitted within this area.
Electronic devices including mobile phones, calculators, smart watches, pagers, digital diaries, and log tables are strictly prohibited inside examination halls. Any attempt to use or carry such gadgets will be treated as a violation of exam protocols.
To maintain transparency and discipline, Static Magistrates and Flying Squads have been deployed to each examination centre. The Nodal Officer instructed all personnel to adhere strictly to exam guidelines and maintain high standards of conduct.
Examination Centres: The 12 examination centres designated for the test include: LBSM College, Karim City College, Cooperative College, Dayanand Public School, Graduate College, JKS Inter College of Commerce, Gurunanak High School, RKM Lady Indra High School, ABM College, Adivasi Plus Two High School, Shardamani Girls High School and Sister Nivedita High School
The district administration has urged all candidates and stakeholders to cooperate fully to ensure the smooth and fair conduct of the examination.
