Poll duty staff reach destination

Seraikela: District administration of Seraikela-Kharsawan today sent various teams of poll duty staff and security personnel to their destination on Wednesday on the eve of the second phase polls going to be held tomorrow.

The poll duty staff left for their respective polling booths with electronic voting machines and other necessary items. The deputy commissioner-cum-district returning officer Hansraj Singh and the superintendent of police Madan Mohan Lal addressed the poll duty staff prior to their dispatch and instructed them to follow guidelines of the Election Commission.

All teams were asked to contact their immediate seniors in case of any emergency situation. In case of any problem, the poll duty staff should maintain patience and take the right decision as told to them during training, the DC said.
