Jamshedpur, June 23: Kolhan DIG Rajeev Ranjan Singh informed that a joint campaign would be started against narcotics and drugs jointly by police team of Seraikela-Kharsawan and East Singhbhum for nearly 15 days. A combined task force of both the districts of East Singhbhum and Seraikela Kharswan would be constituted soon comprising 20 police personnel.
A review meeting of both the district police officials was done by the DIG Kolhan on Wednesday.
The police official appealed to the masses to help police in cracking down on narcotics products sale and purchase and inform police on the whatsapp number 7909109185 about sale and purchase of drugs and narcotics substances on this number 24 x 7.
Masses can also share pictures and videos of those persons taking drugs or sitting in a particular place to get drugs in thier respective area. Those who will share maximum number of information would be felicitated by the state government. and everyday police will share information on the campaign against sale and purchase of narcotics to the media.
Incidentally, sale and purchase of narcotics substances are being carried out in Sitaramdera, Parsudih, Mango, Azadnagar, Ulidih, Sidhgora, Jugsalai and Burmamines in East Singhbhum district while sale and purchase of drugs is carried out in Adityapur and Kapali areas under Chandil sub-divisiion.
