Jamshedpur: In a concerted effort to tackle the issue of illegal parking, the police in Mango have launched a targeted campaign along NH 33. The initiative, spearheaded by the traffic police, aimed to curb the unlawful parking of heavy vehicles from Pardih Chowk to Dimna Chowk.
During the operation conducted on Tuesday, more than two dozen vehicles were affixed with no parking stickers, while fines were promptly issued to numerous others found in violation. Traffic DSP Sanjay Singh underscored the adverse impact of unauthorized parking on NH 33, citing traffic congestion and heightened risks of accidents as primary concerns.
The crackdown signifies a proactive step by authorities to ensure compliance with parking regulations and enhance road safety in the area. The campaign is set to continue actively to maintain orderly traffic flow and reduce hazards associated with illegal parking along the highway.
