Jamshedpur : The police arrested two of criminals identified as Vikas Tiwary and Dharmendra Yadav were arrested in Mango on Monday.
The police recovered a 7.65 calibre pistol from the possession of Tiwary .
Superintendent of police (city) Karthik S said that both Tiwary and Yadav were planning to commit some crime, but acting on a tip off a police party nabbed the two. The police recovered the sophisticated pistol and two live cartridges from the possession of Tiwary.
Karthik said that Tiwary was a criminal and he was wanted in connection six criminal cases pending with the Mango police station registered between 2008 and 2014.
He said Yadav was wanted in connection with a theft case registered with the Mango police station in September 2011.
