Jamshedpur, Sept 19: Litterateur Rajmangal Pandey was honored with this year’s Kavita Patrika Samman at a function organized in Prayag Hall of Tulsi Bhawan. Dineshwar Prasad Singh Dinesh was the chief guest, while well-known industrialist and lyricist of the city Rajendra Shah Raj was the special guest on the occasion. They honoured Rajmangal Pandey with a shawl, memento and a citation. The program was presided by Prasenjit Tiwari, General Secretary of Tulsi Bhawan.
The inaugural was performed with Saraswati Vandana by poet Neeta Sagar Choudhary. The guests were welcomed by the editor of the magazine, Mukesh Ranjan. Veena Pandey Bharati read out the scroll of honor. On this occasion, well-known Ghazal singer Shailendra Pandey Shail, poet Rajendra Singh, Kumar Basant, Dr. Arun Sharma, poet and dramatist Anita Singh spoke in detail of the personality and literary achievements of Rajmangal Pandey and described him as Ajatashatru of literature.
They said that Rajmangal Pandey was a poet as well as a high-ranking editor. He was a scholar of Indian philosophy and Vangmaya. Sarita Singh, Suraj Singh Rajput, Brajendranath Mishra, Saroj Singh, Rajendra Singh along with other prominent city writers, intellectuals and dignitaries were present on this occasion. The vote of thanks was offered by Mukesh Ranjan, editor of the well-known poetry magazine Kavita Patrika.
