Hemant govt determined to usher allround development in Jharkhand: Champai Soren

Seraikela, Sept 19: Seraikela Kharsawan District Committee of the Adivasi Ho Samaj Mahasabha organized the 102nd birth anniversary celebration of Guru Pandit Kol Lako Bodra, the father of the Varang Kshiti script of the Ho language, in the cultural building complex of the Adivasi Ho Samaj Mahasabha in Barbil of Seraikela-Kharsawan district.
Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) Block President cum MLA Representative Sonaram Bodra who was present as the chief guest in the program along with Jharkhand Transport and Tribal Welfare Minister Champai Soren garlanded the life size statue Oth Guru Pandit Kol Lako Bodra in the tribal cultural building complex.
In his address on the occasion, the Minister said that Oth Guru Pandit Kol Lako was a famous litterateur and patron of Bodra Adivasi Ho language who had created the Varang Kshiti script for the uplift and protection of Ho language that needed to be protected and propagated today through routine use in education, writing and composing. Champai Soren said that he would soon meet the Chief Minister and propose the commencement of teaching Ho language in Varang Kshiti script of the Ho language from primary school level and advocate the recruitment of teachers versed in the script.
Jharkhand Minister Champai Soren announced on the occasion that all the villages of the state would be encompassed by boundary walls while constructing and beautifying the traditional Deshauli of tribals so that they could develop[, protect and propagate their rich heritages of culture and tradition. He said that a grand model Deshauli would be constructed at Titirbila in Seraikela at a cost of Rs 2.5 crore.
While speaking on Jharkhand, Champai Soren said that the present Hemant government was determined to usher in allround development in the state. He said, “The Jharkhand government, under the dedicated leadership of the Chief Minister is working round the clock to ensure allround development of the people of the state and the state. Chief Minister Hemant Soren has established his credentials as the number one Chief Minister of the country with exemplary work during the COVID period when thousands of migrant workers were brought back safely from other states and creating earning opportunities for them locally.”
Addressing the function, Sonaram Bodra said that local MLA and State Transport and Tribal Welfare Minister Champai Soren was actively engaged in the development of the area including the state in the realms of public interest. Savitri Kudada, District President of the Mahasabha and teacher Yogeshwar Hembram also addressed the function.
Others present on the occasion included JMM District Vice President Sanand Acharya alias Tilu, Bhola Mahanty and Lipu Mahanty. The program was moderated by Suresh Hembram. Blood donors who participated in the special voluntary camp in honour of Oth Guru Kol Lako Bodra were honoured with presentation of shawls and certificates. A colorful cultural program was presented by the children on the occasion.
