Ranchi, February 17: Hearing in PMLA court in the petition filed against the famous IAS officer Pooja Singhal has been completed. The court has reserved its decision after hearing the arguments of both the parties.
It is known that Enforcement Directorate (ED) has approached the court for not giving the responsibility of any department to Pooja Singhal. Now the hearing in this case is over. The court’s decision can come in the case anytime in the future.
Incidentally, Pooja Singhal had got bail from the court recently. After that the state government withdrew her suspension. Along with this, the discussion of giving the responsibility of a big department to Pooja Singhal had also started. Meanwhile, ED reached the court and pleaded that Singhal should not be given any post at the moment. This may affect the investigation.
Earlier, Pooja Singhal was arrested by ED in the MNREGA scam. She remained in jail for about 28 months. However, later she got bail under the new law.
