Jamshedpur, Nov 28: Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Congress Chairperson Sonia Gandhi will be visiting the Steel City on Saturday to address election rallies for the second phase of assembly polls scheduled for December 2 in different parts of Jamshedpur.
A large crowd is expected at Gopal Maidan, the venue for PM Modi�s public meeting. The same day Sonia Gandhi will address the gathering at Jalla College Ground in Patamda under Jugsalai assembly constituency.
According to the schedule, Prime Minister would be arriving by a special flight at 10 am at the Birsa Munda Airport in Ranchi. From Ranchi he would fly by helicopter to Jamshedpur where he would address the first election meeting scheduled at 11 am.
From Jamshedpur he would return to Ranchi where he would address another election meeting at Morabadi grounds at 1 pm.
Barring Ichagarh constituency in adjoining Seraikela-Kharswan, polling for the 13 assembly segments in Kolhan was slated on December 2 while Ichargarh will go to poll in the third phase.
While PM Modi had already addressed a public meeting in support of party candidates on November 25 at Chaibasa, it will be the maiden election meeting of Sonia Gandhi in Kolhan divison comprising East and West Singhbhum and Seraikela-Kharswan districts in the on-going assembly polls.
