City abuzz with preparations
Jamshedpur, September 11: The city is abuzz with preparations as it gets ready to host Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit on September 15. Local authorities and security teams are working around the clock to ensure the smooth execution of the high-profile event.

To ensure the smooth execution of the event, security has been ramped up across the city, particularly around Tatanagar Railway Station and Gopal Maidan.

The Special Protection Group (SPG) has already taken control of the security arrangements at Tatanagar station.

On Wednesday, a team of SPG officials, including more than a dozen officers and commandos, conducted a detailed review of the station’s security preparations.

Collaborating with the Railway Protection Force (RPF) and Government Railway Police (GRP), the SPG has bolstered surveillance and protective measures to ensure the Prime Minister’s safety.

Senior officials, including DIG Manoj Chauth, IG Akhilesh Jha, and Home Secretary Amitabh Kaushal, have also visited Tatanagar station to assess the ongoing security and preparation activities. Meanwhile, painting and beautification works are underway at Tatanagar station, adding a fresh look ahead of the Prime Minister’s arrival.
