Ranchi, March 1: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday sounded the poll bugle in Jharkhand’s Dhanbad, asserting that the NDA will win 400 seats in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections as the country is relying on Modi’s guarantee.

He also accused the opposition INDIA bloc of creating hurdles in the implementation of ‘Jal Jeevan Mission’ and ‘Awas Yojana’ schemes.

“Abki bar 400 par (this time we will win over 400 seats) in the upcoming Lok Sabha polls as the country is relying on Modi’s guarantee. Where all hopes from others end, Modi’s guarantee begins,” the prime minister said addressing a public meeting ‘Vijay Sankalp Maharally’ here.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has accused the Congress party and its ally JMM of treating tribals as mere vote banks, stressing that his government at the Centre is committed towards the development of the people.

The revival of plants like the Sindri fertiliser unit, and North Karanpura power project are examples of fulfilment of Modi’s guarantee, he said.

Launching a scathing attack on the JMM-led alliance in Jharkhand, Modi alleged that it looted the state.

“I have not seen such huge bundles of notes which were recovered from Jharkhand…Whatever money has been looted from people has to be returned to them. This is Modi’s guarantee,” he said.

“Extortion is at its peak in the JMM-led regime in the state, and appeasement policy had led to infiltration,” PM Modi said.
He also attacked the INDIA alliance, stating that the opposition bloc is “anti-development and anti-people”.

“The JMM (Jharkhand Mukti Morcha) and the Congress…will not let the talented youngsters of Jharkhand progress. That’s because dynasts only think of their own family. But whatever Modi is doing is for your future, is for the future of your children.

“Aren’t people from the same family running the JMM? They will think about their children or your children,” he asked, in a reference to Jharkhand’s politically powerful Soren family. “But you are my family and the future of your children is my guarantee,” Modi told the crowd that had gathered to hear him speak.

Prime Minister took a sharp dig at the Opposition, alleging that Hemant Soren’s Jharkhand Mukti Morcha or JMM now means “jam kar khao.”

JMM leader and former CM Hemant Soren was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on January 31 in connection with a money laundering case linked to an alleged land scam case.

“Your dream is Modi’s resolve. I am working day and night so that I can reduce the difficulties of the poor of the country…In the last 10 years, about 250 million people have come out of multidimensional poverty and the poverty of those who are still living in poverty will also go away. Modi’s resolve is, ‘Developed Jharkhand’ for ‘Developed India”, said Modi.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for projects worth Rs 35,700 crore in Jharkhand.
Among various projects, he dedicated to the nation the Rs 8,900-crore fertiliser plant of Hindustan Urvarak & Rasayan Ltd in Sindri in Dhanbad district

PM Modi also launched rail, power and coal projects worth over Rs 26,000 crore in Jharkhand.
“Jharkhand got a gift of projects worth over Rs 35,000 crore. It was Modi’s guarantee to revive the Sindri fertiliser plant and it was fulfilled today. With the dedication of this plant to the nation, India will become self-dependent in urea,” he added

Revival of fertilizer plant a new hope for locals: Arjun Munda

Ranchi, March 1:Union agriculture minister and Khunti MP Arjun Munda said that a new hope has started from today with the revival of Sindri fertilizer plant.

Addressing the function on Friday, Munda said Sindri Fertilizer Factory has been revived, creating a new horizon in the form of hope for the people who were immersed in despair.

“When I was the Chief Minister, I had gone to the Central Government to request to start it. But the Congress government of that time did not listen to us, we continuously asked that it should be started. This will benefit India, but this matter was not heard. This fertilizer factory will not only produce urea but will also create a new path in development,” said Munda.

Arjun Munda said that in 2013-14, where there was a budget allocation of Rs 21933 crore for work in the agriculture sector, today in 2023-24, under the leadership of Prime Minister, a budget of Rs 111531 crore has been kept for the agriculture sector.

A record high food grain production of 329 million tonnes is being produced in India today in 2022-23. This is the scenario of emerging India. Even in the field of horticulture, production has reached 355 million tonnes.

“Along with this, India where we were forced to survive on the basis of imports. Today we are exporting Rs 5 lakh crore from these areas. Our exports in the field of agriculture are telling the whole world how India is becoming dependent,” said Munda.

CM calls resumption of fertiliser unit a historic day for farmers

Ranchi, March 1: Chief Minister Champai Soren, while addressing the inauguration ceremony of HURL Factory at Sindri, Dhanbad said that today is a historic day for Jharkhand. The resumption of the Sindri fertilizer factory will bring a big change in this area.

“A new door of development will open. When farmers do farming with modern technology and methods, the yield will increase. When food grain production increases, farmers will directly benefit from it. Their income will increase and they will become empowered,” said Soren.

The Chief Minister said that the geographical environment of Jharkhand is different in many ways compared to other regions of the country. On one hand, many minerals like iron, coal, bauxite and uranium are found in abundance here, while a large population of villagers is also dependent on farms.

“In such a situation, a balance between the two is necessary for the proper development of the state. We can strengthen this state by putting the tribals, indigenous people and farmers and laborers on their feet. The state government has been continuously working in this direction with full commitment,” said Soren.

The Chief Minister said that while farmers will benefit from the revival of Sindri fertilizer factory, new employment opportunities will also be created. The youth here will get direct and indirect employment on a large scale. This will bring prosperity to the area and strengthen the economy of the state.
