Jamshedpur: A plantation programme was organized at Nandup Upgraded High School on Friday under the joint aegis of Youth Hostel Association of India, Jamshedpur chapter, and Gram Vikas Kendra, Telco, on Friday.
Youth Hostel residents organize plantation in July-August every year. Hundreds of saplings were planed today. A swachhata campaign was also launched in the nearby areas. Garbage was cleaned and disposed by volunteers who appealed to local residents to keep their surroundings clean.
The volunteers included Pradip Sahu, Vishwamohan Prasad, Norton Bose, AV Narayan, Gopal Mahato, Shikha Bose and Sanchita Bose.
