Chaibasa, Aug 25: In prized Maoist extremist Jitrai Munda�s confessional statement he mentioned to Khunti police that a live pipe bomb had been laid near the Hoyohatu culvert along the Chitpil-Hesadih road leading towards Jomro under Toklo police station area. The Khunti police alerted their Chaibasa counterpart who send an expert police team comprising CRPF 60 Battalion and Jaguar jawans and as per the confession of Jitrai Munda, the Rs Five lakh prized extremist recovered a pipe bomb measuring 4.5 ft connected to a 500 ft wire from near the Hoyohatu culvert. The Jaguar and BDDS teams diffused the bomb at the site. A case has been registered in the Toklo police station under IPC, CLA Act, Explosives Act, UAP Act under relevant sections. Further investigation is in progress.
