Physically challenged person caught selling marijuana in Jamshedpur, jailed

Jamshedpur, April 2: In a recent operation near Kali Mandir in Ramjanamnagar, Kadma police detained Sameer Kumar Singh for selling ganja, subsequently confiscating 20.90 kg of the substance. Acting on confidential information, SSP Kishore Kaushal revealed that Sameer was apprehended during a raid in Kadma, where a digital scale used for weighing ganja was also seized.

According to SSP Kaushal, Sameer had been involved in this illicit trade for approximately seven to eight years. This arrest adds to the tally of 14 cases filed during the ongoing code of conduct period, resulting in the arrest of 16 individuals. During interrogation, Sameer claimed ignorance about the supplier, stating that he only dealt with small quantities until this recent large-scale order.

Authorities are now focused on apprehending the main supplier as investigation into the matter continues.
