Phase 2 of Tata Football Academy Jamshedpur trials kicks off with Jharkhand aspirants

Jamshedpur, November 21: The second phase of the Jamshedpur FC U15 (Tata Football Academy) trials began today, focusing on young football talent from Jharkhand. A total of 221 aspirants showcased their skills on the first day, highlighting the growing passion for football in the state. The trials for Phase 2 will continue tomorrow at the Tata Football Academy grounds, offering more players an opportunity to demonstrate their abilities.

Jharkhand, with 280 shortlisted candidates, boasts the second-highest number of applicants for this year’s trials, reflecting the state’s strong football culture. The participants aim to secure a spot in TFA’s prestigious youth programme, which has a rich legacy of developing future stars of Indian football.

The trials, spanning 12 days from 19th to 30th November, have attracted 1,095 participants from 26 states and union territories. Players from Kerala, Gujarat, Manipur, Himachal Pradesh, and other states are scheduled for upcoming phases, with the final selection rounds set for November 29 and 30.
