Jamshedpur, August 7. Private Schools and Children Welfare Association (Paswa) felicitated more than 3000 students with medals and citations at the district level student talent awards ceremony held at Birsa Munda Town Hall, Sidhgora on Monday.
In addition more than 100 principals and directors from all over the district were also present in the Pratibha Samman ceremony.
Cash amount and medal and citation were given to the toppers of 10th and 12th examinations conducted by CBSE, ICSE and JAC Board and to the students who scored more than 70 percent marks state finance minister and chief patron Rameshwar Oraon, state president Alok Kumar Dubey, President Awardee Falak Fatima and other executive committee members were also felicitated.

This is the first time in Jharkhand that more than 3 thousand talented students were honored simultaneously in such a large number of districts. Students and their guardians had reached Birsa Munda Town Hall, Sidhgora since morning. For their assistance, Paswa had set up 10 helpline desks where students were registering themselves.
Minister Rameshwar Oraon said in his address that an example has been presented in front of the district by organizing such an event on behalf of Paswa.
“Main purpose of this program is to honor and encourage especially talented students. We have to do those who could not top, but they also have hidden talent and their success should not be underestimated in any sense and those children will work to create new records in future,” said Oraon.
