Passenger rush for Durga Puja at Tatanagar station

Jamshedpur, October 22. There is a huge crowd of passengers at Tatanagar station during Durga Puja. A large number of passengers of express and passenger trains are reaching here to go to various stations of Jharkhand and Bengal including Kolhan.

To control the rush Railways has formed a separate team of commercial employees. On the orders of Chakradharpur Division, Commercial Inspector, Station Deputy Superintendent, Chief Ticket Inspector (CTI) and other category supervisors have been put on duty at the ticket centre, inquiry center and reservation counter so that the passengers do not face any problem.

On the other hand, passengers are being made aware about Automatic Ticket Vending Machine and UTS on Mobile. So that there is less crowd in the counter and people can get convenience.

In view of the increasing crowd of passengers, GRP and RPF have also increased their activity at Tatanagar station and trains, so that any type of crime in the railway sector can be effectively curbed. Railways is making efforts to ensure that passengers do not face any inconvenience.
