Jamshedpur, October 22: Jamshedpur city unit of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) celebrated Vijayadashami festival at the transport ground located in Agrico, in which the volunteers of the Sangh also carried out a padyatra.
About 500 volunteers in uniform took part in the march, who were welcomed by the local people with flower showers.
The procession started from Agrico Transport Ground after paying homage to the portrait of founder Dr. Keshav Baliram Hedgewar.
Cardiologist Dr. Nagendra Kumar Das was present as the chief guest in the program. RSS All India Executive member B Bhagaiya was present as intellectual.
The procession ended after reaching the transport ground via Bhuiyandih, Bhalubasa. On this occasion, the discipline of RSS workers was clearly visible.
