Passenger robbed of cash and phone outside Tatanagar station

Jamshedpur, Sep 21: Bagbera police arrested one Bikki Singh Baliya for allegedly robbing a man of his mobile phone and Rs 1000 in cash outside Tatanagar railway station on Wednedsay.

Cops said the accused had robbed Mukesh Kumar Singh Chouhan of Bhojpur (Bihar) by brandishing a dagger when the latter came out of the station around 6 am. The looted cash and mobile phone have been recovered, said KK Jha, officer-in-charge of Bagbera police station.

Chouhan was going to his brother’s place at Parsudih when he was robbed, cops said.
