Jamshedpur, March 1: Demanding special status for Jharkhand Ajsu Party, JVM (P) and JDU have called for a statewide bandh on March 2. On eve of the bandh members of Ajsu party and JVM took out a torch rally at several locations of the city on Saturday.
Members of JDU also protested at various locations demanding special status. Ajsu Party also raised the issue in the state assembly as part of its ‘adhikaar ke liye halla bol’ campaign.
Legislators of regional parties protested within and outside the assembly demanding a censure motion be passed by the house and sent to the Centre.
