Chaibasa, May 5: All Students education and cultural association (ASECA) celebrated the birth anniversary of Pandit Raghunath Murmu, the inventor of the “Ol Chiki” script used in Santali language, at a programme held at Pillaihall in Chaibasa on Friday.
The speakers on the occasion shed light on the life of Raghunath Murmu.
The Santhali artists presented folk dance, song based on Santhali Culture while the Santhali people in their traditional attire staged comic and drama.
A large number of people from the Santhali community participated in the ceremony .
