Jamshedpur, May 5: Demanding improvement in power supply, Congress workers led by senior leader Anand Bihari Dubey protested before the electricity department general manager office in Bistupur. The party activists gheraoed the office for hours and also shouted slogans against Jharkhand government, Raghubar Das and the electricity department.
The congress blocked the main gate of the electricity department general manager office and didn’t allow anyone to enter or exit.
On the occasion GM assured of normal power supply from today evening and announced to send a proposal to the government and electricity board for laying underground cable.
Anand Bihari Dubey said that if the power supply doesn’t improve from today night then the party workers will be forced to launch indefinite strike.
