Jamshedpur: The Jharkhand state government has once again reshuffled officers on a large-scale. The reshuffle includes the transfer and posting of 65 officials from the state services including sub divisional officers (SDO).
The key transfers were of Shruti Rajlakshmi who was awaiting her posting has been appointed as the new SDO of Chakradharpur. Sulochana Meena has been appointed the SDO of Palamu. The department of personnel, administrative reforms and official language issued the notice regarding these transfers on Friday.
The officers were transferred ahead of the assembly elections. Several officers awaiting posting have now been assigned positions.
Parul Singh who was serving as the SDO of Jamshedpur has been transferred and replaced by the former project director of ITDA Shatabdi Majumdar. The ADM (Law and Order) Amrendra Kumar has been reassigned as the Deputy Secretary in the Department of Agriculture, Animal Husbandry and Cooperation. NEP Director and ADC in-charge Ajay Kumar Sahu has been transferred as the Secretary of the Kolhan Transport Authority.
Speaking about the reshuffle, a senior government official said, “This transfer is a part of the routine administrative restructuring to ensure smooth functioning across all the departments especially ahead of the elections.”
Additional Commissioner of Mango Municipal Corporation Ranjit Lohra has been posted as the deputy secretary in the health department. Executive Officer Sumit Prakash has been transferred to the Rural Development Department. The outgoing District Welfare Officer Rajendra Gupta has been replaced by the former DTO of Seraikela, Shankaracharya. SDO of Khunti Aniket Sachan has been posted as the ADM (Law and Order)
