Jamshedpur: Members of Manav Kalyan Darshan Sansthan today met the deputy commissioner of East Singhbhum Dr Amitabh Kaushal and handed over a memorandum addressed to the President and Prime Minister of India to him demanding measures to improve condition of women in the country.
They said the government should ensure that women get their due place in society and that their rights are not encroached upon by anyone. A total of 10 major demands were mentioned in the memorandum.
