Jamshedpur, Feb 26: Tata Steel MD and CEO TV Narendran flagged off Vintage and Classic Car and Bike Rally at Gopal Maidan in Jamshedpur on Sunday. In his address, he said the rally offered great opportunity to the city residents to closely see vintage cars and bikes. He said many people had joined the rally in its second year which was a good experience.
“People from other states also participated in the rally. The rally is getting good response from the people,” he said.
Narendran further said, “Signature events such as the Jamshedpur Vintage and Classic Car & Bike Rally are aligned with our corporate philosophy of supporting initiatives that preserve, protect and promote heritage. This event is not just about looking at beautiful machines, it is also about celebrating our city and our people. We are a city that has always been known for our hard work, determination and innovation. This event is a testament to that spirit. It is a celebration of our history, our culture and our people.”
Narendran was accompanied by his wife Ruchi Narendran, Chanakya Chaudhary, Tata Steel VPCS and other dignitaries.
