Jamshedpur to host Miss India Asia 2026 on May 16-17

Over 500 aspirants auditioned; 60 finalists to compete in grand finale at Hotel Cruze, Adityapur

Contestants from several states to participate in glamour and talent pageant in Steel City

Jamshedpur, May 11: Jamshedpur is all set to host a major glamour and talent event as the “Miss India Asia 2026” pageant will be organised on May 16 and 17 at Hotel Cruze in Adityapur. The prestigious event is being jointly organised by M.V. Production and Skyway Career Hub and will attract participants from several states across the country.

Addressing a press meet at a hotel in Adityapur on Monday, Avishka Chand, Miss India 2025, Managing Director, M.V. Production, Karambir Singh Sony, Director, Skyway Career Hub and Jharna Chand, Organizer, India Asia Founder, M.V. Production jointly informed that the event is aimed at providing a national platform to young talents and will focus not only on physical appearance but also on personality, confidence, talent, intelligence, and stage presence.

“Participants from states including Jharkhand, Bihar, West Bengal, Odisha, Maharashtra, and Tamil Nadu have registered for the competition. According to the organisers, more than 500 aspirants applied through online and offline auditions this year. After several rounds of screening, nearly 60 contestants have been selected for the grand finale, said Avishka Chand.

She informed that the finalists will go through 10 to 12 rounds during the competition. These rounds will test their communication skills, confidence, talent, presentation, and general awareness. Based on their overall performance, selected participants will move to the Top 5 finale round, where the winners will be announced.

The winners will receive crowns, trophies, gift hampers, and attractive prizes. They will also be offered professional opportunities in the entertainment and modelling industries, including contracts worth up to Rs 2 lakh.

Avishka Chand said the main aim of the event is to provide a strong platform for young people to showcase their talent and fulfil their dreams. She thanked all sponsors, collaborators, and partners associated with the programme and described the competition as a celebration of confidence, talent, and ambition.

Karambir Singh Sony said the competition would also focus on the intellectual abilities of participants. He informed that a panel of experts has been formed to ask contestants questions related to current affairs and general knowledge during different rounds of the event.

Apart from Miss India Asia, the platform will also conduct competitions for titles such as Mrs India, Mr India, Teen India Asia, and Kids India Asia 2026. Contestants have been divided into different age categories, ranging from children aged four to nine years to participants above 25 years.

Several members of MV Production, Skyway Career Hub, and the organising committee were present during the press conference.

The organisers expressed confidence that the event would boost Jamshedpur’s image on the national stage and help establish the city as an emerging destination for fashion, talent, and entertainment events.
