Orientation ushers in new academic chapter for Std 11 students at D.B.M.S Kadma High School

Jamshedpur, Apr 4:  D.B.M.S Kadma High School welcomed its newly admitted Std 11 students for the academic session 2025-26 with an engaging orientation programme held at the school auditorium, Kalakriti. With the theme ‘Small Steps Towards Big Dreams Start Today’, the event aimed to help students and their parents transition smoothly into the senior secondary phase.

The programme began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp and a soulful prayer song. Principal Gurpreet Bhambra extended a warm welcome, emphasizing the importance of discipline, time management and school ethics. She guided the audience through a detailed PowerPoint presentation covering school policies, infrastructure, co-curricular and club activities, as well as the CBSE board exam structure.

Chairpersons B. Chandrasekhar and Lalitha Chandrasekhar inspired the students by sharing success stories of alumni who have excelled in diverse fields. Their encouraging words resonated with students and parents alike.

The event was attended by key members of the school management including Anita Ramkrishna (Secretary), Bhuvana Krishnan (Treasurer), Usha Malini (Joint Secretary) and PS Aruna (Joint Treasurer), along with Vice Principals Suparna Roy and S. Shireen, department heads, coordinators, teachers and parents.

The orientation concluded with an interactive session for parents, followed by a Vote of Thanks delivered by Vice Principal Suparna Roy.
