Jamshedpur: An orientation programme was held for the second semester B.Ed students on the premises of Loyola College of Education in Telco on Monday. The resource person for the programme was Dr Pampi Das Sengupta, Assistant Professor, Arka Jain University. The Principal of Jusco School, Kadma, Francis Joseph was also present on the occasion along with the Principal of Loyola College of Education Father Anthony P Raj. The event was inaugurated by Father Tony Raj and Father Gautam in the presence of all guests.
The resource person gave tips to the students on how to become successful teachers. She stressed on preparing well on the subject matter in order to satisfy the curiosity and quest for knowledge of the students.
Joseph spoke on the challenges ahead in the 21st Century for teachers and emphasized the importance of changing according to the need of the hour.
Father Anthony underlined the importance of ‘service learning’ and stressed on instilling human values in students.
