Govt committed to provide clean water: Pawan

Jamshedpur: Chief Minister�s representative Pawan Agrawal inaugurated the pipeline laying work under the Birsanagar Moharda water supply project on Monday. He said the state government was committed to supply clean drinking water to the people of the state. He said the government was going to lay 62 km long new pipeline network for supplying water to all households. Jharkhand government is working on a public private partnership (PPP) mode with JUSCO to provide piped water to the households.

Agrawal appealed to the people to ensure timely payment of their water bills. He said all households should subscribe to authorized water connection only. He said the pipeline laying work had begun in the remaining parts of Birsanagar, Bagunhatu and Baridih Basti.
