Jamshedpur, July 15: The District Transport Officer (DTO) of Jamshedpur, Dhananjay, has ordered the immediate removal of a problematic speed breaker near Tata Steel’s Power House Gate No. 3 in Jugsalai. The DTO has written to Tata Steel UISL (formerly Jusco) MD Rituraj Sinha, highlighting the potential risk of spine injuries caused by the haphazardly constructed speed breaker.
This directive follows a written complaint by the Singhbhum Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The complaint pointed out the significant issues faced by commuters due to the speed breaker, emphasizing the health risks involved. In response, the DTO has instructed the Tata Steel UISL MD to remove the speed breaker immediately to mitigate these risks.
A copy of the order has also been provided to the President of the Singhbhum Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Vijay Anand Moonka, to ensure transparency and prompt action.
