Chaibasa, Oct. 3: Oraon Library celebrated its 9th establishment anniversary at Pulhatu, Chaibasa on Tuesday. The chief guest of the occasion was the state spokesperson of BJP and Tribal Advisory Committee member J B Tubid. He inaugurated an evening class for kids belonging to the Oraon community by lighting the traditional lamp in the library on the occasion.
In his Speech, Tubid said that for the people belonging to the SC, ST and OBC categories, several provisions have been laid down in the Constitution for their uplift. Over the last 75 years, these people have not been able to utilize the opportunities lying before them as political leaders have not guided them properly.
Tubid praised local youths including Sanjay Kashyap for coming forward and bringing awareness in the society by establishing a library and carrying on with such activities. He further said that children must be trained in public speaking, correct pronunciation, proper writing and developing their personality to face challenges in their upcoming years. He said education should be made interesting so that children remain active and motivated.
Educationist Dr Ashok Kumar Sen said that after becoming capable, the people ignore others. He said students like Sanjay Kashyap keep alive the hopes of the society by establishing library and social activities.
