Opposition parties stage protest against Farm laws in Seraikela

Seraikela, Sep 29: In protest against the policies of the central government and to protect the democratic rights of the people of the country, a sit-in demonstration was organised by the opposition parties comprising Congress, JMM and RJD in front of the District Collectorate on Wednesday.
 During the protest by the Grand Alliance, the eleven-point demands like repeal of the three anti-agriculture laws and compulsory guarantee of MSP to the farmers, withdrawal of the increase in the prices of petrol, diesel and gas, the leaders protested against the central government. They raised their voice against the policies fiercely.
Congress District President Chhotarai Kisku said that the BJP government at the Centre is a dictatorial government and this government has nothing to do with the issues of common people, youth and farmers. The farmers are being suppressed through three agricultural laws.
In his address during the program, JMM District President Shubhendu Mahto also strongly criticized the central government. He said that if the 11-point demands are not considered soon, they will intensify the agitation against it.
