Jamshedpur, Nov. 19: Improvement initiatives as tool help to make any enterprise vibrant and robust as it provides the means to all employees to contribute in the growth of the company. Suggestion Box Scheme, which is part of the improvement initiatives mechanism of TRF Limited, enables employees of the company to give ideas on further improving the performance of the company and thereby become part of its growth and prosperity.
In a special drive on Thursday, TRF employees poured over 300 ideas and suggestions in the suggestion box scheme of the company. The online suggestion management system which was jointly launched today by PS Reddy, deputy managing director of TRF and Rakeshwar Pandey, president, Tata Robins Fraser Labour Union (TRFLU), provided the much needed fillip to the existing scheme and ensured the collection of over 300 suggestions. The online system will now make it easier for employees to make suggestions. It will also enable better data management and ensure speed and transparency in the Suggestion Management Scheme, said a press communiqu� issued by the company.
The launch of the online scheme was followed by a mass contact programme called, �Suggestion Mela� in which employees and associates of the company submitted suggestions in large numbers, which were immediately put into the online system.
Speaking on the occasion, Rakeshwar Pandey said that the company, is passing through a very challenging time but, the employees of the company have adequate resilience and creativity to withstand and find solutions to overcome the difficulties.
PS Reddy, said, the company must leverage technology, such as online management for faster growth. He was confident that if employees of the company combined good ideas and suggestions with technology then it would result in growth and prosperity of the company.
