Jamshedpur: A sudden collapse of an old residential building owned by Toyo Rolls Company was reported on Thursday morning in Tata Growth Shop Colony, Gamharia. Fortunately, no casualties or injuries have occurred in the incident.
According to an official statement issued by Tata Steel, the building had previously been declared structurally unsafe and had already been evacuated
“This morning, one residential building belonging to Tayo Rolls Company in the TGS colony in Gamharia, Seraikela-Kharsawan, collapsed. The building had already been vacated, barricaded, and declared unsafe for habitation,” the company stated.
“We confirm that there have been no casualties or property damage. The emergency response team is on-site, assessing the situation and ensuring the area remains secured and safe,” Tata Steel added.
