Odisha Governor Raghubar Das, BJP Jamshedpur East candidate Purnima Sahu cast their vote in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur, Nov 13: Odisha Governor Raghubar Das and his daughter-in-law, Purnima Sahu, BJP candidate from Jamshedpur East, cast their votes in the first phase of the Jharkhand Assembly Elections. The family voted at Harijan High School in Bhalubasa, Jamshedpur. Speaking to the media, Governor Das encouraged people to participate in the democratic process, calling it a “festival of democracy.”

When asked about his involvement in Jamshedpur’s election despite being the Governor of Odisha, Das dismissed allegations against him as “baseless” and stated, “I come here to spend time with my family during the festivals.” Purnima Sahu, who is contesting for the BJP, was also present with her family during the voting.
