Jamshedpur: �Nyaya Apke Dwar�, a legal awareness programme, was organized in Sangram panchayat of Potka block on Sunday under the aegis of District Legal Services Authority (DLSA). Civil Judge Sushila Soreng was present along with Judicial Magistrate Arpana Kumari and para legal volunteers on this occasion.
Addressing the gathering, Arpana Kumari said now getting justice had become easier. Now people do not need to spend huge sums to get legal aid as it is freely available, she said.
Civil Judge Sushila Soreng said the people will have to become aware of their legal duties and rights in order to bring about welcome changes in their lives. She said many schemes were being run by the government for the welfare of the poor and under-privileged people. But due to lack of awareness, many people are still deprived of justice, she said.
Among others present on the occasion included Shankar Gorai, Chayan Mandal, Arun Rajak, Sunil Pandey and Chandrai Mahali.
