Jamshedpur BJP president honoured at Sri Arati Sahib Gurudwara

Jamshedpur: Jamshedpur Mahanagar BJP president Dinesh Kumar was honoured at Sri Arati Sahib Gurudwara in Puri, Odisha. He was accompanied by the Golmuri unit president Probir Chatterjee Rana. He was gifted angavastra by Babajee Shamsher Singh of the Gurudwara.

Recently, a delegation of the Gurudwara committee had met Chief Minister Raghubar Das and demanded that they be allowed to render services at the historic Gurudwara Bauli Math Sahib. The Jharkhand CM had written to the Odisha CM Naveen Patnayak in this regard. District BJP president played an important role in taking up the matter with the Jharkhand CM.

Recently, the Odisha government fulfilled the said demand and provided five acre land to the Gurudwara committee to construct a museum in the memory of Guru Nanak Devji.

Among those present during the felicitation ceremony included district BJP president Amarjee Singh Raja, Haldhar Narayan Sahu, Jaildeep Mukherjee and Narendra Singh.
